Worldofdypians: NFT trading in World of Dypians

World of Dypians is Dypius's online role-playing game, with a marketplace for buying and selling NFTs. Blockchain transactions require an external wallet, while basic gameplay needs no in-app purchases.

Wallet connection and blockchain payments

A compatible external wallet is a prerequisite for blockchain transactions, including NFT purchases. The publisher's marketplace FAQ says cryptocurrency supports payments for NFTs, on-chain events, and other in-game items. These payments take place on the blockchain, outside Epic Games' payment system.

The Epic Games Store identifies Dypius as the publisher responsible for transactions, in-game purchases, refunds, and customer support.

Basic gameplay needs no in-app purchases, and the publisher says blockchain-free play may be possible. Its external-wallet requirement applies specifically to blockchain transactions.

Offers and completed purchases

The marketplace lets players make offers, buy NFTs, and sell NFT assets. After a Game NFT purchase completes, the buyer owns the token recorded on its blockchain. Under the March 9, 2026 terms, completed purchases are final and non-refundable unless applicable law or regulation requires otherwise. The terms say the publisher can issue a legally required refund only if the smart contract permits reversal or cancellation.

Players can trade NFT assets with other players or display their collections. Items marked soulbound, including associated Game NFTs, cannot be transferred or traded from the wallet where they were first stored. Earned or purchased items can also have gameplay uses, depending on their particular integration.

CAWS utility within the game

The CAWS integration covers 10,000 NFTs from Cats and Watches Society. The game's store description says owners receive matching in-game replicas. It describes their use during journeys and battles, including as mounts.

Before choosing an NFT purchase

  • If you only want basic gameplay, no in-app purchase is required.
  • For a blockchain transaction, use an external wallet compatible with the relevant network.
  • If gameplay utility drives the purchase, identify the collection-specific function, such as CAWS mounts.
  • If a refund option matters, purchases are non-refundable except where law or regulation requires otherwise. The terms say the publisher can issue such refunds only if the smart contract permits reversal or cancellation.
